Colombo, 03 July, (Asiantribune.com): The health condition of Velupillai Prabakaran has become a matter of serious concern among the inner circle of the LTTE. Some sources claim that adverse reports are not forwarded to him fearing that these reports might affect his health. His doctors are most concerned about his diabetes and his bouts of depression. Partly because of this and partly because of security reasons his movements have been restricted. He is no longer seen as the outdoor activists. Even his exercises are confined to indoors. He does not want to set a pattern to his daily routine fearing that his enemies could easily target him by studying the routine.

He has been missing from the public eye after the government started to Target key military installations.

Diabetes: Type 2 diabetes, - non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) Trying to control through diets up to 2004 after that date reports reveals that he is under pills.

Heart related disease - Angina a disease of heart which results in sharp pains in the chest after physical activity or exercise.

Hydrocele : a collection of serous fluid that results from a defect or irritation in the tunica vaginalis of the scrotum - indirect inguinal hernia.
